Three Ways to Build Resilience in the Face of Adversity

Hey there, today I'm sharing three ways to supercharge your resilience reserves in my latest minicast. We've touched on resilience and some of the tips might ring a bell, but I'm bringing a fresh perspective, complete with some eye-opening stats from our resilience study.

Let's face it: the past few years have been a whirlwind, and if you're feeling more frazzled or irritable than usual, know that you're not alone. It's perfectly okay to acknowledge the shift and realize that resilience rebuilding is a process.

According to our study, 54% of working Americans feel overwhelmed, stifling their resilience. If you’re juggling life’s many challenges, personal or professional, consider what commitments you might be able to scale back on. Feeling overwhelmed often indicates it's time to reevaluate, even if it means having awkward conversations about stepping back.

For some, letting go isn't an option. Maybe your stressors are unchangeable life aspects—kids, partners, or jobs. That’s when self-care becomes essential, not optional! Shake up your routine, sneak in some peace, and embrace self-regulation. Establish a morning ritual that sets a positive tone for the day or find those little moments for yourself to refuel.

If this resonates, watch the minicast below for all of the tips to build your resilience. You can check out more of the research at www.speakmichelle.com/research.
