I loved talking with Brooke Walker on Studio 5 at KSL about happiness in life and business. Fun fact: this was my 64th TV interview and my 26th on KSL, but my first on Studio 5. Here’s a quick summary of our important discussion or you can jump to the end to watch the segment!

While there is an unhappiness crisis, you can still find joy.

We all feel it. Women are yearning for happiness, and it's more important than ever. The 2024 United States Happiness Report reveals that 79% of Americans see a real unhappiness crisis, and 81% believe they deserve more joy. With these staggering numbers I want to share my insights on how women can truly harness happiness.

The Unhappiness Crisis

Here’s the scoop: Yes, there's a happiness crisis, but here’s the silver lining—people are actively seeking joy. This collective push for better emotional health is a big step in the right direction!

Rethinking Happiness

It’s time to change how we see happiness. We often think of it as a distant goal, something we’ll get to after hitting certain marks. I say, let’s see happiness as a daily practice. Find joy in everyday moments, no matter where you are.

The Power of Positivity

Embracing positivity is key. It might sound like a cliché, but it’s backed by research. Positive thinking genuinely boosts happiness and resilience. My “HappyIST Principle” helps you turn negative thoughts around, develop strategies, and take action to foster a positive mindset.

Prioritizing Joy

Happiness has to be a priority. Engage in activities that make you happy. Spend more time with loved ones. Helping others is also a fantastic way to boost your own happiness.

Building Resilience

We’ve all felt drained recently, and now it’s crucial to rebuild our resilience. Monitor your feelings of overwhelm, fear, and low confidence. By addressing these emotions, you'll be better prepared to handle future challenges.
