Is Facebook Watch a Good option for a Video Marketing?

KSL Browser 5.0 TV Segment

Last month on KSL we talked about video marketing in general. This month we’re taking a look at a specific strategy: Facebook Watch.
As Facebook works to compete with YouTube for video views and market share many companies are wondering if Facebook Watch is a viable strategy for business.
In this segment, I share some tips about how to use Facebook Watch if you do decide to use it as a business marketing strategy.
Here are some pictures from my time in the studio this week!

Possibilities & Inventions – Make It Happen Radio with Michelle McCullough & Guest Ryan Grepper

Make It Happen Episode

Today’s show is all about possibility.  How and why dreaming is an important part of peak performance and also how to turn those possibilities into reality.

Michelle will be interviewing a product visionary and inventor Ryan Grepper.  We’ll be talking about possibilities, inventions, building business the right way and also, don’t miss Ryan’s tips for a KILLER crowd funding campaign!

Ryan is part visionary, part mad scientist, and a passionate supporter of the DIY revolution. He’s the driving force behind The Coolest, and has been a full-time inventor and product developer since 2006, with multiple products successfully developed and licensed in several industries.

He’s also committed to advocating for other inventors and helping them succeed. As Founder of Inventor’s Blueprint, an online video training program, Ryan helps inventors take their great ideas and turn them into products that sell.

 It’s Not All Work:

Ryan loves nothing more than to get outdoors and play, because he’s originally from Helena, MT. In fact, whenever he’s not busy inventing cool things, he can usually be found on a mountain bike, a snowy slope, dangling from a hang glider—or getting tackled by his kids, who show no mercy.

If you’re looking for insights on how to bring your invention to fruition, check out Ryan’s resources at

The Marketing Playbook – The LAST Marketing Planning Tool You’ll Ever Need

Playbook Graphic .001 I’m excited to share with you, the Marketing Playbook.

As a marketing strategist, I help small businesses create revenue. I do this by balancing traditional marketing mediums with emerging strategies like social media.

While every company’s needs and outlets are different, one thing is the same: every solo entrepreneur and company I work with needs a solid plan.

So I created a marketing panning tool called The Marketing Playbook.  A digital program that helps you define your market and messages, set your budget and schedule your campaigns.

I even have a tab that helps you calculate Return on Investment so you know what outlets and campaigns are most lucrative.

That tool has only been available to my private clients, until now.  Whether you are planning for a new year or just want to freshen existing strategies, the Marketing Playbook can help. Go to to learn more and order yours.

ALSO, act fast, for this initial launch, I’m offering the Marketing Playbook at a discount and LOADING it with bonuses.  You don’t want to miss it!

Holiday Marketing Tips!

Make It Happen Episode

Holiday Marketing TipsCan you believe it’s November?! I can’t even comprehend how fast time is going by, how quickly my kids are growing…I digress.

Regardless of your “year-to-date” there’s still time to close out the quarter with powerful marketing strategies.

For starters, marketing messages can be “themed” for the holidays.  How can you tweak your copy or create a powerful campaign headline that you can use across multiple mediums?  Brainstorm with your team.  Beware, the line between clever and cheesy is really thin!

Second, how can you appropriately tap into well known promotions?  Just around the corner is Small Business Saturday and quickly following is Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  Are you prepared with your own promotions?

This just scratches the surface.

I have so much to share with you about seasonal marketing which is why I’m teaming up with the folks at AWeber to bring you MORE Holiday Marketing Tips and resources over the coming weeks.

FIRST Tune into Make It Happen Radio on Monday at 4:00 PM Mountain time, I’ll be talking about holiday marketing tips on the air.  Have a question?  Call in!

SECOND: Mark your calendars and join us for a twitter chat on Wednesday, November 13th at Noon Mountain/2:00 Eastern.  Our Holiday Marketing Tips discussion will help small businesses make key marketing decisions for this time of year.  We’re going to talk about how to schedule holiday marketing, how to choose a holiday marketing budget, and the mistakes to avoid when marketing during the gifting season.  Don’t miss it!

Learn more about the chat here.  One lucky twitter chat participant will win the Marketing Playbook – the annual marketing planner that will help you hit the ground running in 2014.

THIRD: Are you ready to do your 2014 planning?

I’m hosting a free call about 2014 marketing planning and the mistakes small businesses make that are costing them time and money!  The call is FREE.  Register HERE.

The year will come to an end faster than either of us want, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t participate in the largest shopping season of the year!

We’d love to hear from you!  Join the conversation on our Facebook page about holiday marketing.  Which quarter is your best quarter of the year?
